Coming from a musical household, Kelsie was exposed to music before she even knew it. At the early age of 3, she started performing in her mother’s musical theatre productions. She loved every part of performing and could not get enough. As a child, Kelsie loved listening to her compact disk player and singing along to her favorite albums as she walked up and down her dirt road – it allowed her to sing at the top of her lungs without interruption. It became her dream to help others feel the way she did in those moments – surrounded by music and free.
In addition to majoring in vocal performance at Seminole State College, Kelsie has taken many classes in psychology and feels that helping people and teaching music are her two biggest passions. She also has decades of experience in both musical theatre and early childhood education. She has taught people of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. Her performance experience spans from community musical productions (Les Miserables, Godspell) to performing Vivaldi’s Gloria at Carnegie Hall, an amazing experience she will never forget.
Kelsie spends as much of her free time possible with her husband and fur babies: three dogs, two cats, and one bird. She has always been an animal lover and rescuer, and is fully dedicated to her “zoo”. She describes herself as a “Disnerd” which means she loves anything and everything Disney, and often goes to the park dressed as her favorite Disney Characters.
